March 18,
2005 | CARA'S CAVERN
ANDROS ISLAND, BAHAMAS | BOAT DIVE

This morning’s dive is at Cara’s Caverns. The site is very cool, consisting of huge coral heads that have grown together to form tons of closed channels, mini-caves, and swim throughs. For some reason, I just don’t feel like getting inside any of them today, and so I hang outside the wall examining things and looking for pelagics. I spend some time videoing 4 blue tangs swimming around in a group. Lingering behind the pack of other divers, I finally spy a big green moray eel. Everyone else is too far away to call them over, so I just stay and shoot video alone. I catch up with Linda, and we’re very soon on the boat. This dive seemed way too short to me, and indeed my computer says only 35 minutes of bottom time. | |||||||||
