Dive Journal: It’s already Friday and our diving week is drawing to a close. After just a few days, we’ve quickly grown accustomed to the water temperature and it no longer feels so cold to us.

This morning’s dive is at Cara’s Caverns. The site is very cool, consisting of huge coral heads that have grown together to form tons of closed channels, mini-caves, and swim throughs. For some reason, I just don’t feel like getting inside any of them today, and so I hang outside the wall examining things and looking for pelagics. I spend some time videoing 4 blue tangs swimming around in a group.

Lingering behind the pack of other divers, I finally spy a big green moray eel. Everyone else is too far away to call them over, so I just stay and shoot video alone. I catch up with Linda, and we’re very soon on the boat. This dive seemed way too short to me, and indeed my computer says only 35 minutes of bottom time.
