RMS RHONE, BOW SECTION
SALT ISLAND, BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS | WRECK DIVE

We dive the deeper bow section this morning and do a real pretty swimthrough of the boat’s hull. The RMS Rhone is considered a remarkable wreck for many reasons. One of these reasons is that divers can still swim through her hull after more than 140 years in the water. We encounter a huge lobster in the hull and enjoy cool views out the openings. We angle over to the condenser section and find hoards of squirrelfish around it. Additionally, we find several seeming friendly jawfish there who must be quite used to divers – they’re normally pretty shy. | |||||||||
