VANISHING ROCK
SALT ISLAND, BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS | BOAT DIVE

There are some great step rock formations here and nice overhangs. Big schools of sergeant majors surround us and we encounter big groupings of squirrelfish as well. Plenty of corals and sponges here. We especially enjoy a gaudy pair of white spotted filefish that crosses our path. We take a 360° tour around the base of the rock, then locate the mooring line again and play around beneath it. There is a mild current here today, and some surge to boot. | |||||||||
