Dive Journal: This dive is another drift dive quite similar to El Bajo, and we see most of the same species of fishes here. We also spy a lone garibaldi fish hanging mid-water about 15 feet above the reef. I didn't know they traveled so far south - maybe we are mistaken. We do see a pair of Cortez angelfish here as well. A few large (>4') cornetfish show up near the exit point.

Linda spots the real prize: a very cool looking bullseye stingray, sporting an interesting pattern of dark concentric rings on its topside.

We were slated to dive the following day 12/5/1998, but we awoke to howling winds coming in from the north. All diving was called off for the day, and we settled for some snorkeling and putt-putting around the dirt roads in our rented Beetle.
