Dive Journal: After our raves of yesterday, Breeze takes us back to a site just north of the Aquarium. There are a lot fewer fishes today, however. Anreas and Mar spot two humongous lobsters hiding in the recesses of a sand chute.

I spot quite a few indigo hamlets, one of my favorite fishes. Nearing the dive end, we encounter yet another large school of creole wrasses and a group of jacks.

One memorable sight on this dive is two groupers sparring with each other. One is prone on a ledge, a red hind (olive striped with red spots). The other is facing upward vertical off the ledge, a coney (brown with blue spots). They periodically lunge at each other over the edge of the shelf. What a sight!

Carol does some snorkelling on this dive, exploring areas of the reef on the shallower edges of the wall. We also meet Rosa and Carl on this dive. Newly certified at Ambergris Caye, they are tourists from California. We learn that they are employees at a budding dot-com called "Think Link" in San Francisco.
