After sitting out the first two days, Janel is ready to dive with us! I am excited about diving in Belize with my 2 favorite ladies! The overcast skies make this a dark dive. The relatively few numbers of fish we encounter appear to be dozing. White Sands is a truly beautiful dive - I especially enjoy the gorgeous varied features of the reef wall silhouetted onto the brilliant white sands of the shallower flats. I deliberately pick out a pair of barrel sponges and two sand chutes to identify our entry/exit point for the dive. However, only a bit of exploring reveals that such features are virtually everywhere. On the return, I guess as best I can and we end up 20 yards away from the boat, resulting in a short surface swim. (I actually think that someone moved the landmarks while we were touring - ha.) | |||||||||
